About Rose Hotel
With great excitement and responsibility, owners Tom Hogan and John Tennent, took over iconic Fitzroy pub, The Rose, in December 2015.
The boys' vision was to refresh the aesthetic of the downstairs bar whilst recognising its roots as a traditional sport loving, beer drinking, parma and steak eating Australian pub. Put simply, they've given the pub a new look - and kept the country pub in the city ethos that defines The Rose.
These walls tell a story and the boys are keen to continue the tale as honestly as they can - no pretension, a sense of community, quality product, intelligent and caring staff, and fair and reasonable pricing are non-negotiables.
